Are my volunteers covered for workers compensation?

The Act specifically identifies who is provided coverage. The Act is designed to protect employees, and volunteers are not covered. There is an exception for volunteer police, fire fighters, ambulance attendants and civil defense workers. It is not intended that volunteers in any other capacity receive benefits.
